I write the biggest exam of my life!
I have now been studying for 5 months, have done numerous practice tests, have read 5 textbooks (300+ pages each) from cover to cover, and somehow, somehow, this test could still kick my ass. Oh dear. But actually I am feeling fairly confident because I have now got through all the material and I still have a month to go to do practice tests. It feels so good to see the finish line, no matter how scary it may seem!!
In other good news my achilles is finally better so I have started running again. My back is not such a happy story, but I guess that's old news. My sciatica has been flared up recently and my heel was numb for about 5 days straight. I have been on prescription antibiotics to try to settle it down and they seem to be working. I can't swim or bike until it settles down so cross country skiing is honestly saving my life right now.
On Friday I am going back to Van for 3 days and I am so excited because I can finally run with the girls again and Vancouver is so beautiful at 6am along the seawall!! I am staying at my mom's new apartment in Yaletown (which is unfurnished so I will be on a foamy on the floor). Soon it will be rented so this might be the only time I actually get to sleep in it! I am also picking up 7 pieces of luggage from the airport that have been shipped from Ireland, including my cross bike!! I can't even remember what are in the other bags.. I packed them in September in a hurry!
I am also currently planning a fundraiser for my volunteer trip to Africa.. but more news on that later!
